Hardware Service

Hardware support level will be supplied by the computer manufacturer; other hardware support is available with factory warranty from the dealer or manufacturer.


Software Support

Argentem offers two levels of software support: Premium and Standard.  Both are provided under annual contracts, paid annually or quarterly in advance.

Standard service is provided via email for software questions or problems, including the performance of customer’s choice of computer and other hardware.  Standard also provides the availability of software upgrades at no additional charge as they become available.  The annual charge for this service is 16% of the purchase price.

Premium supplies the functions of Standard support plus support by telephone during daylight and evening US Pacific Standard or Daylight Time.  Telephone support in excess of the maximum of four hours per month will be billed in addition to the annual charge.  The annual charge for this service is 18% of the purchase price.

At the end of any service period, customers may drop to a lower level of service.  To upgrade from Standard to Premium service will require a one-time payment of $600 per year for all years during which the higher level of service was not taken.

Support Service / Warranties

Argentem will supply service based on first-contact support, regardless of whether the problem is with software or the Argentem-recommended hardware that customer will buy directly from the manufacturer or customer’s dealer.

Argentem software is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of 90 days from delivery, wherein defects in workmanship are generally expressed as malfunctions due to improper code writing procedures.  Upon receipt of documentation from the user detailing any malfunctions not due to hardware failure, Argentem will expend its best efforts to solve the problem as soon as is practicable.
