Argentem announced a major advance in facility workflow by means of integrating traffic and automation within a common SQL server database engine.

The integrated traffic and automation systems not only pass pre-air schedules and post-air logs, but will also pass dub requests, dub completions, purge requests and purge completions. Advance pre-air schedules, which may not yet be final, can be sent to archive management systems to bring material into the on-air servers in a timely manner.

Automation control of the new General Dynamics MediaWare splicing system's video server and 10-input digital switcher will provide stations with the ability to schedule and play local studio programming and other sources, instead of just switching between network and interstitials.
